Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in the UK is seeking an experienced High Voltage Engineer (Authorised Person – Electrical) to lead safe isolation, switching and approval of HV/LV work across Rolls‑Royce sites. Based in Derby with UK-wide support, the role demands hands-on technical leadership in safety-critical energy systems.

You will review RAMS, provide training, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Rules and statutory requirements while supporting outages, maintenance

Qualifications

• Electrical HV/LV experience with authorisation responsibilities.
• Proven HV/LV switching, isolation and safety documentation competence.
• Experience with Safe Systems of Work and Permits to Work.
• Strong safety culture and leadership in critical operations.
• Willingness to travel UK-wide for outages and critical works.

Responsabilités

• Act as Electrical Authorised Person (HV/LV) for designated Rolls-Royce sites.
• Control and authorise work on HV, LV, and complex LV systems.
• Prepare and review HV switching programmes and safety documents.
• Undertake isolations, proving dead and restoration of supplies.
• Issue and manage permits to work and safety documentation.
• Mentor new and existing competent persons and review RAMS.
• Provide technical leadership during outages and critical works.
• Ensure inspections and remedial actions meet statutory requirements.
