Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Swindon is seeking an experienced HV Electrical Instructor to move off the tools and pass on practical knowledge. Based at a single training centre, you’ll train on HV systems and cables, delivering both classroom and hands-on sessions while keeping safety at the forefront.

No teaching qualification is required to apply; real HV experience and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly matter, with training qualifications supported later.

Qualifications

• Must hold full UK driving licence.
• Proven knowledge of safe systems of work for HV and switchgear.
• Real-world HV Authorised Person experience.
• Diploma or higher in electrical engineering (Level 3 Diploma or HNC/equivalent).
• Teaching qualifications (TAQA, A1, PTLLS, AET) or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HV electrical training in both practical and classroom settings.
• Ensure all sessions meet safety and compliance standards.
• Provide one-to-one support to trainees during challenging topics.
• Help tailor content to client site needs.
