Job summary

Hunter partnered with a well established business in Winsford, seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain HV machinery and PLC controlled equipment on-site. The role involves routine and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and close collaboration with the mechanical team.

An on-site, 3-shift role offering progression and training, with salary around £51,000 and standard pension benefits. Applicants should have HV electrical experience and PLC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained, or level 3 NVQ or HNC / ONC qualified
• Knowledge of PLC controlled equipment
• Comfortable carrying out fault finding on electrical systems
• Good knowledge of HV electrical infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
• Work closely with the mechanical team to maintain the HV electrical infrastructure
• Maintain PLC controlled automated equipment
