Our client is seeking an HV Shift Leader to join their Critical Banking Team, overseeing electrical PPMs, reactive maintenance, and other general building services. The role offers a salary of £57,000, clear progression pathways, overtime, pension, and career stability.

Duties include:

• Responding to reactive and planned maintenance tasks across the Data Centre.
• Monitoring the BMS and responding appropriately to alarms.
• Possessing a strong understanding of LV and HV electrical systems, data hall cooling/humidity, BMS systems, UPS, generators, electrical installation, and safe systems of work.
• Maintaining effective communication with the client and management team.
• Managing and distributing workload.
• Responsible for RAMs, Toolbox Talks, and ensuring targets are met.
• Leading and developing staff, ensuring subcontractors are compliant.
• Carrying out work in accordance with health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• HV Authorised Person with experience in HV Systems.
• C&G Pts. 1 & 2, or equivalent, or exceeding; 17th Edition IEE Wiring and Installation (ability to attain 18th Edition through training).
• Experience in banking, data centres, or critical environments.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a small team of engineers.
• Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and delivering services within deadlines.
• Willingness to attend both on-site and off-site training.
