Your new role

You will work on client sites maintaining transformers and switchgear, and on projects across the UK, handling HV, LV, transformers, switchgear, and related equipment. Responsibilities include:

• Performing service and remedial works on equipment
• Writing detailed quality and daily site reports
• Electrical testing and fault finding
• Mechanical modifications and repairs
• Routine PPM to manufacturer standards
• Proactively reporting faults
• Testing LV protection and documenting results
• Installing HV/LV panels and transformers to standards

About you

• BTEC in Electrical Engineering
• Thorough understanding of electrical power systems up to 33KV
• Good transformer knowledge
• Operational experience as a HV Electrical Fitter
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Prioritization skills
• High-quality work standards on client sites
• Eligibility for SC / CTC clearance and DBS check
