Job summary

People In Power is recruiting a Project Manager for pre-construction on high-voltage infrastructure projects across the UK. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with commercial and delivery partners, and ensure plans, budgets and client requirements are met from early planning through handover.

You will manage NEC contract frameworks, oversee risk, quality and safety, and drive successful pre-construction outcomes for schemes up to 400kV.

Qualifications

• Experience managing utility or infrastructure projects in the power sector.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams during pre-construction.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contract mechanics and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-construction from planning through handover.
• Coordinate civil works and HV/EHV cable installation activities.
• Monitor programme, quality, safety and budget performance.
• Produce and review project plans and progress reports.
• Lead site teams and subcontractors during pre-construction phases.
• Identify delivery risks and develop mitigation plans.
