BakerHicks is recruiting an HV Cables Design Engineer in the UK. You will lead design, calculations and drawings for HV/EHV cable systems, ensuring quality and working with CAD technicians to produce deliverables.

As the demand to deliver exceptional engineering design from our clients continues to grow, an opportunity has arisen for a HV Cables Design Engineer.
The HV Cables Design Engineer will be reporting to the Principal or Associate Engineer – HV and will be responsible ensuring the quality and consistency of the team’s output in the production and control of drawings and technical documents. You will assist during the bid process in order to secure further work.
Many of the positions within our company are subject to security clearance or security assurance levels.
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance or assurance level for this role, in line with client and sector requirements.
In some cases, additional nationality or residency criteria may also apply due to specific client or national security obligations.
