Job summary

Ipsum is recruiting a Cable Jointer to join our Private Networks Division in Stoke-on-Trent. You will ensure workmanship quality, safety compliance and act as the on-site link between customers, peers and service providers.

The role focuses on high-standard cable jointing from 11kV to 33kV, with emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. A proactive, results-driven professional is preferred.

Qualifications

• HV & LV jointing techniques from 11kV to 33kV.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation and technical advances.
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety practice and Risk Assessment processes.
• Experience in fast-paced customer facing environment.
• CTC Clearance and UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and compliance to standard of workmanship on projects.
• Manage safety and compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.
• Deliver programmed works to the required level of quality, safety and cost.
• Interface with customers, staff and other service providers on site.
