Granite Recruitment Ltd is seeking an HV Cable Design Engineer for a long-term Outside IR35 contract in Perth. The role involves designing HV/EHV cables, performing sizing and thermal analyses, and contributing to route surveys.

Hybrid work is available for commutable candidates from the Central Belt, Scotland. Applicants should have hands-on experience with HV cable systems, AutoCAD, CYMCAP/ELEK/Cableizer, and a track record on transmission/distribution projects.

Formación

• Experience in HV/EHV cable design and design calculations.
• Knowledge of cable sizing, thermal rating and ampacity studies.
• Familiar with earthing, bonding and induced voltage analysis.
• Experience with cable route design and surveys.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and HV cable design tools (CYMCAP/ELEK/Cableizer).

I'm currently supporting a client in Perth who is looking to bring an experienced HV Cable Design Engineer onto a long-term Outside IR35 contract.

They're working on a range of transmission and distribution projects and are keen to speak with engineers who have experience in:

• HV/EHV cable design
• Cable sizing, thermal rating & ampacity studies
• Earthing, bonding & induced voltage analysis
• Cable route design and surveys
• AutoCAD
• CYMCAP, ELEK or Cableizer

£350-£450/day Outside IR35
