We’re looking for a skilled HV (12kV) Electrical Engineer to join our expert team at SPE Energy. Based in Abercarn, you’ll work closely with our Power Distribution Manager and engineering team, playing a key role in the delivery of high-voltage electrical projects across various sectors.

You’ll support project-based work both on-site and at our premises. Responsibilities include producing technical documentation, providing regular updates to customers, and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submitting timely and accurate Site Reports
• Developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures for site tasks

• Providing structured feedback on scope of works to clients and colleagues
• Conducting regular self-assessments for personal and professional development
• Maintaining timesheets accurately and securing customer sign-off

We’re looking for someone with:

• A completed electrical apprenticeship
• HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• At least 2 years' experience in electrical or engineering roles
• Proven experience with 11kV or 12kV systems
