A leading aquaculture consultancy in Scotland is seeking a Husbandry Technician to ensure the care and welfare of salmon stock. The role involves feeding fish, monitoring health, and maintaining safety standards. Candidates need a strong work ethic and a desire to learn; training is provided. Competitive salary range of £27,500 to £29,000 per annum depending on experience, with overtime rates available.

As a Husbandry Technician, you’ll be part of a dedicated team responsible for the daily care and welfare of salmon stock at sea. Working closely with the Site Manager, Assistant Manager and Skipper, you’ll carry out feeding routines, monitor fish health and support the smooth running of site operations.
While experience within a similar role is desirable, candidates with transferable skills and a passion for the aquaculture industry will also be considered. Full training will be provided and you’ll be supported every step of the way - including an ML5 medical and industry certifications at our cost.
This is a fantastic route into the marine aquaculture industry. However, experience in manual work, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are essential.
