Hurco CNC Miller Operator

Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency, and we are looking to recruit a Hurco CNC Miller Operator for our prestigious manufacturing client in the Chorley area.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary & Package: £32,708.00.

• Overtime - Time & Half.

Hours

• Day Shift: Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 & Friday 08:00 - 13:00.
• 37 Hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Utilise Hurco CNC machines.
• Operate, set and mill on Hurco CNC machines.
• Change CNC tools.
• Work to tight tolerances.
• Able to use micrometers and vernier callipers.
• Read technical engineering drawings.
• Manufacture components.
• Perform calibration and quality inspection.
• Able to work to specifications.
• Hands-on approach.
• Computer literate.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with safety standards.
• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Additional Details

This role is suited for a Hurco CNC Miller Operator who has worked on Hurco machines previously and wants to join a fast-paced engineering environment. You will be required to operate, set and mill using CNC Machines, have the ability to read technical engineering drawings, work to tight tolerances and perform quality checks on precision components. The right candidate will be hands-on, have the experience/knowledge required and want to progress in a forward-thinking company.
