As a Total Store Sanitation Representative, you'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the store, inside and out, while ensuring our customers feel welcome. The role involves:
Sanitation / Maintenance
- Maintaining store cleanliness and safety with urgency and prioritization, including floors, windows, break rooms, and restrooms
- Restocking hand wash sinks with soap, sanitizer, and paper towels
- Cleaning and removing trash from flower beds and store yard
- Properly using chemical products and organizing maintenance supplies
- Emptying and cleaning trash receptacles throughout the store
- Following SOPs to ensure food safety and sanitation standards
- Reporting maintenance issues to Store Leaders
Customer Service
- Interacting with and assisting customers
- Helping customers locate products
- Performing duties of Customer Service Assistant when needed
Minimum qualifications include:
- Age 18 or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Company Orientation, In-store Orientation, Basics of Safety, Food Handler, and Chemical Safety certifications upon hire
Preferred knowledge and skills:
- Understanding of OSHA Guidelines
- Sacking skills
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks
- Customer service orientation
Physical requirements include:
- Constant walking, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling
- Frequent bending
- Occasional sitting, standing, reaching overhead, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climbing stairs/ladders, twisting, pinching, fine motor movements
- Exposure to cold, noise, and wet conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and manage heavier loads with assistance or proper techniques
