Humanities Teacher (Geography Specialist) - Worksop
Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Start Date: September 2025

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher with a specialism in Geography to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Worksop from September 2025 until the end of term at Christmas, with the potential to go perm for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator to make a real impact in a thriving learning environment.



About the Role

This full-time position will involve delivering engaging and inspiring lessons primarily in Geography, but will also include teaching across other Humanities subjects such as History and Religious Studies at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive department with access to excellent resources and a clear commitment to professional development.



The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Have a strong subject knowledge in Geography and experience teaching Humanities at secondary level.

  • Be enthusiastic, creative, and committed to raising student achievement.

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Be a team player with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
