Humanities Teacher needed in The Wirral

TeacherActive are looking for an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher for a lovely school on the Wirral to enrich the learning and development of their students. They are looking for a Humanities Teacher who is able to create engaging and innovative lesson plans, demonstrate effective teaching practices and strong behaviour management skills and can teach up to KS4.

The position will include planning and assessment, under the guidance of the Head of Department. The successful Humanities Teacher may also be required to provide individual plans for Learning Support Assistants to follow when working on a 1:1 basis with SEND students.

The successful Humanities teacher needs to have:

  • QTS with a Humanities specialism
  • Experience teaching Humanities up to KS4 / Key Stage 4
  • A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
  • A DBS on the update service
