Position: Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECT - History, RE & Geography

An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is seeking a Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECT for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The Humanities Department, led by an experienced Head of Department, has grown significantly and includes a diverse team of young, experienced, and Teach First Teachers, supported by multiple Humanities graduate Teaching Assistants. The school has achieved impressive Progress 8 results across KS3, 4, & 5 and fosters a creative learning environment.

Experienced teachers can take on TLR roles such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator or Pastoral Responsibilities. Newly Qualified Teachers (ECT) will benefit from bespoke induction programs, mentoring, and training opportunities.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Teaching Humanities at KS3, KS4, & KS5 levels
  2. Inspiring and motivating students
  3. Collaborating with a team of Humanities teachers
  4. Potential TLR roles: KS3 & KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibilities
  5. Support for ECTs: 1:1 mentor, bespoke induction, training
  6. Location: Inner London, Hammersmith and Fulham
  7. Start date: September 2025
  8. Salary: MPS1-UPS3
Candidate Requirements
