Humanities Teacher - History, RE & Geography

An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Hounslow is seeking a Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECT - History, RE & Geography for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The current Humanities Head of Department has helped the department grow significantly. The team includes young, experienced, and Teach First Teachers, along with multiple Humanities graduate Teaching Assistants who support attainment across KS3, 4 & 5.

This school has achieved impressive Progress 8 results across all key stages and fosters a fun and creative learning environment for students.

Experienced Humanities Teachers may take on TLR roles such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibilities, and more.

Newly Qualified Teachers (ECT) will participate in the school's bespoke ECT induction program and collaborate with both young and experienced Humanities staff.

Person Specification - Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECT

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining it
• Strong academic background: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs
• Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
• Ability to work well within a large team of Humanities teachers
• Willingness to accept feedback
