You'll work with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. Your role is to help them learn, develop their abilities, and boost their self-esteem. Resilience and dedication are essential, but the rewarding small victories will make it worthwhile.

The journey can be tough, but positive progress will outweigh the challenges. Our colleagues are highly skilled, our school environments are well-resourced, and we're committed to supporting your career development.

What we do for you

We believe you'll do great things. In return for your hard work, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • Full induction and on-the-job training
  • School holidays off
  • Opportunities for career progression, with many leaders promoted from within
  • Flexible benefits, such as adjustable life insurance
  • Pension options, including Teachers' Pension and attractive alternatives
  • Wellbeing tools and employee assistance programs
  • Medical coverage for optical, dental, and other expenses
  • Access to high-quality facilities and environments
  • A "recommend a friend" scheme offering a £1,000 bonus per referral
Bring your whole-self to work

Our diverse workforce reflects the backgrounds of our young people. To connect effectively, you'll need:

  • A 'can do' attitude and team spirit
  • Passion for teaching Humanities and its impact
  • Ability to relate to pupils and build relationships
  • Enthusiasm and expertise to develop your department
  • Previous teaching experience and Qualified Teacher Status
