Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a Humanities Teacher to join our supply teaching team and support local secondary schools in North Yorkshire for a start from September 2026.

The role requires experience teaching KS3 and KS4 and holding QTS or QTLS. You will work within a supportive management team and alongside experienced practitioners who prioritise the learners. A commitment to safeguarding and professional development is essential.

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an Humanities Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in our vibrant and supportive local secondary schools in the North Yorkshire area for a start from September 2026

The desiredHumanitiesTeacher will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. The desiredHumanities Teacher must have experience of working within anHumanities department and be comfortable teachingHumanities at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

Requirements

To be considered for theHumanities teacher position, you will:

  • Have experience teaching secondary education at KS3 and KS4
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS)
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
