Humanities Teacher - Rugby

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire

Start Date: Immediate Start

Contract Type: Full-Time | Permanent or Long-Term

Salary: MPS/UPS - Competitive, based on experience

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Rugby, currently looking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher for an immediate start. This is a full-time position, available on a long-term or permanent basis, depending on your preference and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Teach engaging and inclusive lessons in History, Geography, or RE across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan and deliver lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning
  • Monitor student progress and tailor support to ensure all learners succeed
  • Contribute to curriculum development and participate in department planning
  • Play a role in wider school life, including clubs, trips, or enrichment activities
  • Foster a supportive and respectful classroom environment
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
  • A background in one or more Humanities subjects
  • Experience teaching at secondary level and a commitment to high standards
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
