Our colleagues’ wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at OFG, so we’re always looking for new ways to improve everyone’s work/life balance. We’re taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one day less a week (or equivalent).
4DWW will be rolled out within our school, when we have a full complement of staff, and within the next year – so there’s never been a more exciting time to join us #teamOFG!
As a Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupil’s achievement and ability to develop.
This is a great opportunity for a Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding, in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in decisions.
Under the direction of the Deputy Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, carry out professional duties as set out in school policies. Uphold the professional code of the GTC. Teach in accordance with the ethos, organisation, and policies of the school as a committed member of the teaching team.
Crookhey Hall School caters for boys and girls aged 10-17 with SEMH needs. We aim to extend academic, vocational, and social skills, promote personal growth, and build self-esteem, helping pupils reach their full potential.
The school is located on a 15-acre site near Lancaster. Having a driving licence is beneficial due to the location.
