Humanities (Geography & History) Teacher

In the heart of Havering, a 'Good' Secondary School is seeking a Humanities (Geography & History) Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time position, directly employed by the school.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Humanities Teacher who is eager to contribute to an expanding department. The school is known for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school invests heavily in education, implementing innovative teaching practices and training staff. It offers a two-week October Half Term and has received two nominations for Secondary School of the Year. It's an exciting time at the school!

Experienced teachers can take on TLR roles such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibilities, 2iC, or HOD. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) will join a bespoke induction program and work alongside both new and experienced colleagues.

• Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
• Ability to work effectively within a large team
