Humanities Teacher needed for an SEMH Alternative Provision

TLTP are looking for a qualified Humanities Teacher to work full-time at an SEMH Alternative Provision.

The ideal candidate would have experience working with pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

The setting is a specialist provision based in Fulham, London. This provision teaches pupils who are unable to attend their mainstream school due to behavioral challenges.

Many of the pupils have emotional and mental health needs. The main features of the provision are:

• Reduced curriculum offer focusing on core subjects
• Class sizes of a maximum of 8-10 students with additional TA support in classes
• Therapeutic and nurturing environment with approaches to support access to the curriculum
• No specialist mental health knowledge required; pupils seek good teaching to achieve their GCSEs and progress
