Position: Humanities Teacher

Hours: 08:00-16:00, Monday to Friday

Term: Term time only

About the School

The school caters to students aged 11-18 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, all on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Role Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver KS3, GCSE, and A-level English lessons of the highest standard to ensure student progress.
• Design an engaging and challenging curriculum that inspires students in English studies.
• Provide a nurturing classroom environment.
• Complete all reasonable tasks assigned by the Head.
• Serve as a form tutor and main contact for key students.

Requirements

• Degree level education or higher.
• Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
