Job Opportunity: Humanities Teacher

U-Educate is currently recruiting experienced and qualified Humanities Teachers for schools in Eastleigh. We offer both day-to-day and short/long-term roles with immediate start dates.

Responsibilities

1. Planning, marking, and assessing lessons
2. Teaching lessons based on Humanities curricula
3. Preparing and developing lesson plans, curricula, and teaching materials
4. Providing helpful feedback to students about their progress
5. Managing classroom behavior
6. Engaging, motivating, and encouraging students to complete their work
7. Ensuring students are focused and on track to meet lesson objectives
8. Attending to students' physical, mental, and emotional needs

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting students with SEN in an educational setting
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Philosophy, Geography, and RE to KS3 pupils
• Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
• Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (free courses available through U-Educate if needed)
