Qualifications

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Possess strong subject knowledge in Humanities disciplines.
  • Showcase excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Be adaptable and committed to supporting student success.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply.

Job Title: Humanities Teacher
Location: Sinfin
Salary: £145 £225 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a supportive school community in Sinfin. This opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher who is confident delivering engaging lessons across the Humanities curriculum and fostering a love of learning in every pupil.

As a Humanities Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in History, Geography, RE or related subjects across Key Stages.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged and valued.
  • Support pupils academic and personal growth through differentiated learning strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and assessment.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs.

To be a successful Humanities Teacher, you will:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Possess strong subject knowledge in Humanities disciplines.
  • Showcase excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Be adaptable, committed, and passionate about supporting student success.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply.
  • Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gap over the last 10 years.
