Humanities Teacher - Part-Time - Immediate interview in Wandsworth. Are you an experienced Humanities Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role starting this October? We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Humanities Teacher to join a supportive secondary school team and deliver engaging lessons across KS3.

  • Location: London borough of Wandsworth
  • Start date: Friday 3 October 2025
  • Contract: Maternity contract
  • Working days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (3 days per week)
  • Subjects: Mainly humanities with a focus on Religious Studies, History and 2 KS3 English lessons

As a committed Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire students across a range of humanities subjects. This opportunity is ideal for a teacher who enjoys RS and History, with the flexibility to cover elements of Geography and English at Key Stage 3.

This position offers a part-time opportunity while making a long-term impact within a school community. The successful candidate will be supported by a friendly staff team and will play an important role in helping students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lessons across the humanities subjects for KS3
  • Teach Religious Studies, History and provide coverage for Geography and English elements at KS3 as needed
  • Maintain engaging, inclusive, and interactive learning environments
  • Monitor and support student progress and attainment
  • Collaborate with a supportive school team to contribute to wider school life
Candidate Requirements
