Humanities Teacher

Location: Ealing, London
Contract: Maternity cover - from after October half term until July 2026

A large and welcoming secondary school in Ealing is seeking a passionate Humanities Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis. The role will commence after the October half term and continue through the academic year. The school is ideally looking for someone with a specialism in History, though strong candidates with a broader humanities background are encouraged to apply.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with a creative and engaging approach to the humanities curriculum. The department benefits from strong leadership and collaborative planning, providing excellent support for both experienced teachers and ECTs. You'll be joining a school community that values inclusion, student ambition, and staff wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging humanities lessons, ideally with a focus on History
