Job Title: Humanities Teacher (KS3/KS4) – Supply

Location: Brighton, East Sussex

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Supply

Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)

Salary: £120 – £160 per day (dependent on experience and assignment)

This opportunity offers both short-term daily cover and long-term placements, perfect for an adaptable teacher wanting to work within a supportive and friendly school community.

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging Humanities lessons (History, Geography, RE) to KS3 and KS4 pupils
• Manage behaviour effectively and promote a positive classroom environment
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Complete planning, marking, and assessment for longer-term assignments
• Collaborate with the Humanities department and wider school staff

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desired but not essential)
• Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
• Strong classroom management skills and flexibility
• Commitment to inspiring students and supporting their progress
