A secondary school in Hounslow is seeking a Humanities Mentor to support students across subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies. Youll join a collaborative staff team that values curiosity, respect, and academic growth among pupils.
As a Humanities Mentor, youll work closely with the Humanities department to support pupils in lessons, run small group catch-up sessions, and help prepare and adapt learning resources. This is a great opportunity for someone thinking about teacher training or a career in education.
Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils in KS3 and KS4 Humanities lessons to improve understanding
  • Leading small group revision and discussion sessions focused on key topics
  • Helping to plan and adapt lesson materials to suit different learning needs
  • Working closely with SEN and EAL pupils to boost engagement and progress
