Job description

Our client is on the lookout for an experienced and forward-thinking HR professional to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping a high-performing, inclusive, and supportive workplace. You’ll be a trusted partner to leaders and staff alike, offering expert guidance across all areas of HR while driving key people initiatives that support our organisational goals.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Provide strategic and day-to-day HR advice to senior leaders, managers, and staff
  2. Coach and support managers in applying HR policies and navigating complex employee matters
  3. Lead on key initiatives across the employee lifecycle – from workforce planning and recruitment to performance management, reward, and talent development
  4. Support and manage complex employee relations cases, including performance and attendance issues
  5. Use data insights from employee relations and workforce trends to shape and improve people practices
  6. Oversee end-to-end recruitment and help attract the best talent
  7. Champion our culture through health & wellbeing, EDI, and engagement initiatives
  8. Review and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practice
  9. Support the development and progression of the wider People Team
  10. Collaborate on cross-functional projects and organisational change initiatives
  11. Work closely with the Head of People on strategic HR programmes and rollouts

What You’ll Bring:

  1. CIPD qualified or working towards
  2. Proven experience partnering with senior leaders in a fast-paced HR environment
  3. Solid understanding of employment law and confident applying it in practice
  4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  5. Able to juggle priorities and manage multiple projects to tight deadlines
  6. A proactive, self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  7. Proficient in using HR systems and data to inform decisions
  8. Experience managing or supporting HR projects and change initiatives
  9. Comfortable interpreting and using people data and metrics
