Job Description:
  • Salary - Up to £55,000 pa depending on experience
  • Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week
  • Location: Inspired Learning Group, Stanmore, HA7 3HD

Inspired Learning Group is currently looking to appoint a HR Service Centre Manager. This newly created role within the Human Resources team will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the HR centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and consistent HR services to employees and managers.

We seek an experienced individual to oversee the team handling employee inquiries, HR processes, and transactional activities, while driving continuous improvement, technology optimization, and service excellence.

The head office is based in Stanmore. ILG owns and operates 30 independent schools and nurseries across the UK. Inspired Learning Group is one of the largest groups of independent senior schools, preparatory schools, and nurseries in the UK. We pride ourselves on supporting each institution in achieving excellence by inspiring pupils to reach their personal, social, and academic potential.

You will join the Inspired Learning Group at Head Office. The team provides support to enable settings to focus on delivering high-quality education outcomes.

As HR Service Centre Manager, reporting to the Head of HR, you will ensure all HR areas meet high standards. You will be responsible for the next phase of our growth, leading service centre delivery, operational excellence, and integrating new settings into the HR operating model. You will utilize technology to optimize functions and collaborate with stakeholders, using data to monitor trends and improve performance.

We are looking for an excellent communicator with strong HR understanding, capable of motivating and leading a team. The ability to positively influence the working environment is essential, as you will work with multiple stakeholders within ILG.

Significant experience in HR operations or shared services is required. Experience within a school or educational environment is not essential.
