HR Operations Manager

The role:
- Reporting to the Head of People, you will strengthen HR infrastructure and implement best practices across the organization.
- Lead core HR operations including payroll, employee engagement, recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and systems management.
- Shape company culture, enhance employee experience, and support strategic initiatives.
- Manage day-to-day HR policies and processes, oversee payroll and benefits, and ensure legal compliance.
- Handle employee relations cases, support managers, and promote fair and inclusive workplace practices.
- Drive data-driven decision-making through HR systems and metrics.
- Review and improve HR processes to ensure operational excellence.
- Maintain compliance with employment law, GDPR, and audit requirements.
- Develop competitive and inclusive compensation and benefits frameworks.
The person:
- Degree educated, ideally CIPD L7 qualified.
- Experience in HR operations within fast-paced environments, preferably in tech or business services.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, payroll, benefits, and recruitment.
- Experience managing HR systems and reporting tools.
- Proactive, excellent communicator, and a collaborative problem solver.
- Passionate about employee experience and human-centric HR initiatives.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and driving change in growing organizations.
