We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Officer to join the team at The May Fair Hotel, A Radisson Collection Hotel.

Overview

  • An Amazing opportunity has arisen to join The May Fair Hotel as a Human Resources Officer.
  • You will play an active daily role in engaging with hosts at all levels within the hotel.
  • You will take ownership of the onboarding process for new hosts, supporting managers with document collection and right to work checks.
  • You will be responsible for all department administration along with making sure that all new starter touch points are completed including day 2 Hotel Orientation and 30 Day Reviews. You will provide feedback on any points of concern raised.
  • You will be part of the hotel social committee and will provide support for all host engagement activities.
  • You will review sickness levels across the hotel and organise meetings with hosts accordingly.
  • You participate in both investigation and disciplinary meetings and be confident to provide initial advice to managers.
  • You will support managers with the development of their teams by ensuring that they are aware of upcoming training programs and are able to nominate and enrol their teams.
  • You will promote the company recognition scheme and actively ensure that colleague to colleague nominations are taking place.
  • You will be responsible for communicating benefits and company information through our company communication channels ensuring that all information shared is relevant and up to date.About You:

About You

  • Previous HR experience within Hospitality desired but not essential.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - the ability to engage confidently on a one to one level with others along with as part of a meeting representing the Human Resources department.
  • Has a basic level of employment law knowledge
