Job description

Could you be the HR champion who supports every stage of the employee journey and helps shape a thriving school community? Lynn Grove Academy and Woodlands Primary Academy are seeking a dedicated HR Officer to be the first point of contact for all HR-related matters.

Job Title: HR Officer

Location: Gorleston-on-Sea and Bradwell, Norfolk

Salary: Band G, points 18 - 22 - £30,559 - £32,654

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

About You:

As the HR Officer, you will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. You will be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, with a solid understanding of HR processes and policies. Additionally, you are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Our ideal candidate would:

  • Be experienced in working in a busy HR Department.
  • Have knowledge of HR policies and processes, including file management and absence.
  • Have a professional demeanor and a regard for discretion and confidentiality.

The Human Resources team supporting the Norfolk schools within Creative Education Trust is a close-knit group of dedicated professionals. Each team member manages their own portfolio of schools, fostering a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
