Job summary

HR Recruit are partnering with an SME in Ulverston, Cumbria, to recruit a standalone HR Manager. The role reports to the Managing Director and offers a 3–4 day week with the option to work from home one day per week, combining strategic and operational HR across the business.

You will lead employee engagement and development, coach managers, handle ER matters, recruitment and onboarding, while ensuring compliance with UK employment law. Salary 50–55k pro rata with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years previous HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing employee relations matters across the full employee lifecycle.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding and people development activities.
• Familiarity with HR systems, reporting and people analytics.

HR Recruit are partnering with an industrial organisation looking to recruit a stand alone HR Manager for an SME in Ulverston, Cumbria. The role reports into the Managing Director. The client will consider candidates looking to work 3 or 4 days per week and there is the opportunity to work from home 1 day a week. The purpose of the role is to partner with managers and employees across all departments while supporting strategic and operational HR activities.

Role Responsibilities

In return you will receive a salary between 50-55K (Pro rata) plus bonus and excellent benefits.
