Job description

HR Manager – North East Lincolnshire - £70,000 to £75,000 - DOE and qualifications – car, bonus, hybrid working, and other benefits.

Your new role

This stand-alone HR Manager role in the UK & Ireland reports to the UK & Ireland Business Manager and the HR Director of Europe. You will oversee all HR activities, support the site team, and promote company culture and values. As a senior member of the leadership team, your responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the full employee lifecycle in accordance with policies and legislation.
  2. Collaborating with the HR Europe team on new HR systems and managing their implementation.
  3. Developing and implementing compensation and benefits policies to attract and retain talent.
  4. Designing variable compensation and incentive plans aligned with business strategies.
  5. Leading organizational development and capacity planning.
  6. Handling industrial relations from the HR perspective.
  7. Providing HR advisory support to management.
  8. Coordinating payroll, HR reporting, and forecasting activities.
  9. Rolling out talent development programs and supporting performance development initiatives.
  10. Managing HR systems like People Hub.
  11. Maintaining legal compliance and key contacts within the organization.
  12. Leading a small support team.
  13. Guiding management on employee relations issues, ensuring legal compliance and supportive practices.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Post-graduate or CIPD qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing or trade union environments, or similar sectors.
  • Strong HR knowledge and experience in a standalone role within a growth organization.
  • Project and change management skills.
  • Up-to-date UK employment law knowledge.
  • Experience managing Employee Relations and Trade Unions.
  • Leadership skills including conflict management, employee development, and process management.
  • Decisiveness, excellent communication, and ability to travel within the UK & Ireland.
