Job summary

Bluebox HR is recruiting an HR Manager to join a profitable, dynamic distribution and manufacturing business in Coventry. This site-based role reports to the Managing Director and will own and develop the people agenda, shaping HR initiatives, policies, processes and systems to back the Board's plans.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on HR generalist with experience across employee relations, resourcing, L&D, performance management and workforce planning.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualified or qualified by experience
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law
• Experience in fast-paced operational environments (distribution/manufacturing)
• Experience advising and coaching line managers
• Site-based role requiring visibility with leadership and a 150-person workforce

HR Manager.

Warehousing, Manufacturing & Distribution.

Coventry - Site-based.

£60,000 - £65,000.

This is an opportunity to join the management team of a profitable, dynamic distribution and manufacturing business at a pivotal stage in its growth.

As HR Manager, reporting to the Managing Director, you will own and develop the people agenda, creating and implementing the HR initiatives, policies, processes and systems to support the Board's business strategy and plans.

The role requires a hands‑on HR all‑rounder who can bring with them experience across a breadth of areas including employee relations, resourcing, learning and development, performance management, workforce planning and HR systems. A key focus of the role will be advising, coaching and developing line managers to positively and consistently manage their people.

You will be CIPD qualified (or qualified by experience), have a comprehensive understanding of UK employment law and have a commercial understanding of HR's impact within a business. Your experience will include fast‑paced operational environments, ideally in distribution, manufacturing or a similar sector.

Communication, both written and verbal, will be a core strength and you will have the ability to build collaborative working relationships across the company. You will be pragmatic, solutions‑focused and comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels. Strong influencing skills, flexibility and a can‑do attitude are all essential.

This is a fully site‑based role, reflecting the importance of being visible, accessible and closely connected to the leadership team and the 150‑person workforce.
