Latham & Bond HR are working with a values-led organisation based in Birmingham to appoint a newly created HR Manager role. With plans to scale from 50 to 120 employees by 2028, the business is looking for a strategic and people-first HR professional to take full ownership of the function and shape a culture where people thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement HR strategy aligned with long-term business objectives
Own the development and ongoing review of all HR policies and procedures
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on all HR matters, providing expert guidance and insight
Lead on all performance and absence management processes
Champion employee engagement and a people-first culture
Serve as the first point of contact for all employee relations issues
Oversee diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Deliver strategic projects including accreditations such as Investors in People, ISO9001 and B-Corp
Skills and Attributes:
Mental Health Practitioner qualification or demonstrable experience in employee well-being
Proactive, people-focused, and strategic in outlook
Strong knowledge of HR best practice, employment law, and engagement frameworks
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the HR function
