Job summary

Delve Search - Global Search Consultants is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to lead the full employee lifecycle for a growing SME manufacturing business in the Wrexham area. This on-site role offers the opportunity to partner with management and implement practical HR solutions.

Responsibilities include end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, advising on employee relations, contracts, HR systems, training support, and UK compliance.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or currently working towards it.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering HR is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Experience managing recruitment and employee relations.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Independent worker who can build relationships across the business.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end recruitment and onboarding.
• Advise managers on employee relations matters (discipline, grievance, absence, performance).
• Prepare contracts, HR documentation and maintain HR systems.
• Support learning and development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and HR policies.
• Lead payroll project streams and other HR initiatives.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing and continuous improvement.

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a varied standalone role where you can genuinely make an impact?

We are working closely with a recognised SME size manufacturer of high-performance equipment who are part of a global larger group giving the benefit of the best of both worlds! They are looking for an HR Generalist to join its friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the full HR function on site while working closely with the Managing Director and receiving support from the wider group. You'll benefit from the stability of a global organisation while working in a specialist, innovative manufacturing business where your contribution will make a real difference.

The Role

As the site's HR Generalist, you'll be responsible for delivering professional HR support across the full employee lifecycle, partnering with managers and employees to ensure best practice and compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding
• Advising managers on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance
• Preparing contracts, HR documentation and maintaining HR systems
• Supporting learning and development initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and HR policies
• Playing a key role in HR projects, including a current streamlining payroll project
• Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working independently while building strong relationships across the business.

You'll ideally have:

• CIPD Level 5 qualification (or be working towards it)
• Previous HR experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Good knowledge of UK employment legislation
• Experience managing recruitment and employee relations
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A proactive, approachable and confidential working style
• Commutable to the Chester/Wrexham area
