Job description

HR CONSULTANT

Location: Beds, Herts, Cambs area, home-based with some travel to clients required.

RBA is seeking an experienced HR professional to join their expanding consultancy team.

This role offers the best of both worlds – the freedom to grow a client portfolio with the security of a salaried position, along with training and support from our team.

The ideal candidate will likely be a graduate member of CIPD or hold a law degree, with extensive practical multi-site HR experience (minimum 5 years). You should be a technically competent advisor with up-to-date employment law knowledge. Most importantly, you must demonstrate excellent consultancy skills and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will provide dedicated advice to SME clients, working with business owners and managers to implement pragmatic solutions for business success. This is NOT a reactive desk job, strategic policy role, or employee welfare position, but rather a HR business partner role.

The consultant role operates Monday to Friday, managing your own diary with a mix of home and client site visits. Compensation includes a basic salary plus bonuses based on fee earnings. The OTE for the first year is approximately £48,000, with potential for growth.

RBA is a small HR and Employment Law consultancy operating in the South East and East of England.
