Job description

Human Resources Consultant needed in Kensington, £197.76 per day PAYE - Reference: 5264798

You will ideally have extensive employee relations knowledge and experience in supporting disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence and reorganisations.

Responsibilities:
  • To provide a comprehensive, expert Employee Relations service to the service/business area assigned.
  • To ensure the successful delivery of core Employee Relations activity across a department and across the Council as designated, whilst assisting the HR&OD partnering function across a service/business area enabling the department (and the council) to deliver its business objectives.
  • To assist in the delivery of service improvements, engaging with a variety of stakeholders in the process, constantly and consistently challenging and devising new and improved ways to deliver business improvement and value for money across designated business groups.
  • Work closely with service departments and the specialist HR teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the service to the agreed SLAs and KPIs together with the associated service performance reporting.
  • Working with HR&OD BPs and colleagues in the wider HR&OD service, foster a culture of co-operation and joint working to ensure that all HR interventions are consistent with current HR and corporate people strategy.
  • To participate in cross-service teams on specific projects as required. This will include, for example, a focus on the Decision Making and Accountability, DMA, project work including interviewing at all levels, report writing and assisting with moderation and presentation of results.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
