Job description

We are looking to hire an HR Consultant to assist in the day to day HR consultancy work working mainly at our office in Frimley, Surrey.

The HR patch can offer flexibility in the role and opportunities to enhance your HR career with the diverse range of projects that we undertake, whilst fully supported by the Founder. We manage a diverse range of clients ranging from 1-100 employees with varying needs and we regularly undertake ad-hoc project work for start-ups, as well as large businesses.

Essential Skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and consistently be highly organised
  • Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to drafting documentation
  • The confidence to respond appropriately and quickly to clients
  • Strong administrative skills and use of MS packages
  • A good understanding of employee relations (the ACAS Code of Conduct) and general employment law, but more importantly the confidence to say 'I don't know' and ask for help. No HR professional knows everything!
  • A basic knowledge of redundancy, TUPE, fair dismissal, sickness absence management
  • An ethical approach to HR
  • Proven experience working within an HR role and a passion for good HR practice, as well as impeccable customer service
Desirable Skills
  • Experience of HR, Recruitment & Training software (BreatheHR)
  • Ability to create and deliver HR training
  • The ability to undertake a small organisational HR audit
  • Project management skills
  • CIPD qualification
  • HR consultancy experience
