About The Role

We are currently looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) on a 12 month fixed term contract, to be based at our Monmouth, Wales site. Within this role, you will be a strategic advisor responsible for partnering with senior leaders and driving people strategies aligned with business objectives. The role combines operational HR expertise with strategic thinking, supporting talent management, performance, employee engagement, and workforce planning initiatives to meet both immediate and long-term goals. Collaborating with Centres of Excellence (CoEs), Shared Services, and HRIS, the HRBP will deliver a data-driven HR service that enhances organisational success and employee experience. UK travel may be required occasionally (approximately 6 times per year).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Partner with senior leaders to understand business priorities and develop people strategies that drive organisational success.
  • Align HR initiatives with business objectives, ensuring workforce planning supports growth and continuity.
  • Leverage HRIS data insights to inform HR decision-making.
  • Promote HR best practices and continuous improvement within the organisation.

Talent & Performance Management

  • Support talent acquisition efforts with CoEs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Implement performance management frameworks, coaching managers on feedback and development.
  • Support succession planning and career development initiatives.
  • Guide organisational design and job role development.

Employee Engagement & Change Management

  • Enhance employee engagement and workplace culture through data-led initiatives.
  • Assist leaders in managing change, including restructuring and process transformations.
  • Contribute to internal communication strategies to keep employees informed.
  • Foster a positive work environment where employees feel valued.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure HR policies comply with employment law and industry standards.
  • Streamline HR processes with Shared Services.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases fairly and transparently.
  • Monitor and address HR compliance risks proactively.

Upskilling & Capability Building

  • Promote professional development within the HR team and leadership.
  • Implement upskilling strategies to future-proof workforce capabilities.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing among HRBPs.
  • Support leaders in developing management skills and fostering a coaching culture.

HR Data & Insights

  • Utilise HR analytics to identify trends and address risks.
  • Produce reports on HR metrics to inform leadership decisions.
  • Align HR initiatives with business goals and measure their impact.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • CIPD Level 5 or above preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Additional HR or business qualifications are desirable.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with leadership teams to drive HR strategies.
  • Knowledge of change management, workforce planning, and employee relations.
  • Ability to leverage HR data for business outcomes.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and adaptability.
  • Proficiency with HR systems and reporting tools.
