Job Summary

Huawei is looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) with experience in Human Resources. We wish to recruit 1 experienced multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and a consistent upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management by working in partnership with Senior Managers to embed a strategic approach to Human Resources through the development of people, policies, and ways of working.


Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with internal clients and HR functions, acting as a connection between management and employees.
  • Provide expert advice on HR issues, legislation, and data analysis.
  • Coach and influence organizational design discussions to support business strategies, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Partner with senior managers to develop operational plans, challenging the status quo and devising solutions.
  • Support change management initiatives, ensuring clear communication and alignment with HR objectives.
  • Promote employee advocacy through succession planning, leadership development, and engagement initiatives.
  • Coach managers on leadership behaviors, develop capability, and ensure alignment with Huawei’s values.
  • Work on complex ER cases, including conduct, grievance, and performance issues, collaborating with legal providers as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Resourceful, resilient, and capable of balancing employee compassion with business decisions.
  • Strong team player with analytical skills and high integrity.
  • Ability to inspire change and drive people development.
  • Fast learner with coaching skills and a focus on quality.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Knowledge of UK and European Employment Law and TUPE.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and a professional HRBP background.
  • Language skills: English required; Mandarin is a plus.
