About Our Client
Our client is a reputable and sizeable Chinese MNC with a robust and growing business. They are currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their expanding team, responsible for managing both HR operations and analytical duties, while playing a pivotal role in their strategic expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer strategic guidance and mentorship to stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Develop and execute customized initiatives with a strong focus on scalability and growth, encompassing areas such as strategic development, talent evaluation and retention, organizational change, and team enhancement
- Actively identify the developmental needs of teams, managers, and the broader organization, propose actionable solutions, and implement them effectively
- Conduct thorough data analysis and provide detailed reporting insights to leadership based on organizational demands
- Administer and support the yearly performance evaluation and compensation planning cycles
- Work in partnership with fellow HR Business Partners to ensure alignment with the strategy and execution of different departments, while adhering to headquarters’ guidelines
- Address intricate employee relations issues, such as disciplinary measures, conflict resolution, absence oversight, ensuring adherence to legal and company standards
Requirements
- A track record of two to three years as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable position
- Background working within international and complex, matrix-structured organizations
- Proven ability to exercise prudent decision-making and evaluate risks in alignment with organizational priorities
- Established expertise in driving influence and resolving challenges with a strategic approach
- Comprehensive understanding of United Kingdom employment laws, HR regulations, and industry-leading practices
- Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success in navigating change management during large-scale organizational transformations
- Broad and well-rounded knowledge of HR practices as a generalist
- Skilled in managing challenging employee relations scenarios, including disciplinary actions, grievance handling, absence oversight, and redundancy processes
