About the role - People Partner

We have an exciting opportunity to join our People Partnering Team within our Nottingham Support Office. You will report into the Head of People and sit at the heart of the people agenda for the respective function, where you will gain an understanding of the function you partner, collaborating with the leadership teams to deliver the exciting growth and BAU strategy. Reporting into People Director, your initial role will be with No7 BC which has an international lens but may move around business over time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • By being an integral member of the relevant Leadership Team, you will steer, shape and deliver the people plan for your function, enabling it to achieve its in-year objectives through creative and strategic HR solutions.
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of the function to which you will add external insights and understanding of best practice and internal people metrics to identify, develop and deploy people interventions and solutions.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with People team members in other Partnering teams and the Centres of Excellence to ensure an integrated approach across the function, as well as bringing insight about wider organisational activities to the business area.
  • Plan and deliver a range of HR and People solutions that are tailored and appropriate for the specific function e.g. the development of leader and team member capabilities, organisational development and design, team engagement, talent and succession planning, wellbeing and employee experience to name but a few. The scope is extensive and will provide a great variety of opportunities for the successful candidate to positively impact their business areas.
  • Coach, support, and influence senior leaders on all people 'lifecycle' issues and the overall people agenda
What you'll need to have
  • Experience of partnering senior leaders within a commercial and corporate environment, with the ability to influence across a wide and varied stakeholder network.
  • Experience of supporting business teams to drive change in complex and often ambiguous environments, partnering leaders and inspiring teams
  • Broad generalist HR expertise across the full HR 'lifecycle'
  • Strong knowledge of trends, ideas, and innovation in HR and how to apply them appropriately to business context
  • Experience of facilitation and coaching
  • A problem-solving mindset, with a focus on root-cause analysis and creative solutions.
It would be great if you also have
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
