Job Description:

As a market leader, the talent and passion of our people are critical to our success. The Human Capital Function in London provides support and strategy at every level of Alantra’s business in the UK and Ireland.

We are looking for a junior Associate to join our international Human Capital team to contribute to the day-to-day business and to the execution of our people initiatives in the UK. The successful candidate will have direct exposure to all levels of the organization and will have the opportunity to gain responsibility and develop in a fast-paced environment.

Some of these responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a point of contact on Human Capital queries and issues.
  • Lead the co-ordination and onboarding of new hires, including preparing and issuing offer letters and contracts.
  • Manage the offboarding process.
  • Advise and support the objectives setting, year-end and mid-year performance processes, providing guidance on performance management.
  • Together with senior Human Capital Business Partners, ensure that policies and procedures are applied consistently.
  • Together with senior HRBP, advise managers and employee on employment law and human resources practices.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition to support the recruitment and selecting processes.
  • Support senior Human Capital Business Partners with employee relations cases.
  • Support the talent promotion and development processes in place, including change initiatives.
  • Utilise software to maintain data and report on key Human Capital ratios, including monthly reporting.
  • Together with senior Human Capital Business Partners, support international mobility to and from the UK and Ireland.Promote the enrolment of employees in the Learning & Development initiatives and advise their design.
  • Support the monthly payroll update in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Key strengths for us would be:

  • Strong attention to detail, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to contribute your own ideas and work autonomously.

  • Strong academic background/results, educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
