Job description

Catalyst have exclusively partnered with a global leading investment firm seeking a high performing and detail-oriented HR Associate. This is a great opportunity for a rising HR professional to step into a broad generalist role with scope to grow into a junior HR Business Partner. This role supports a diverse employee population across multiple European offices. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for Associates and Senior Associates, providing high-touch and white-glove HR support. This is a highly visible role requiring strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end HR support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Build out structured talent attraction processes.
  • Support the enhancement of a learning and development agenda for corporate functions, partnering with global teams.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance using Workday.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, particularly around performance and absence management.
  • Contribute to strategic HR projects, including DEI, systems optimisation, and policy development.
  • Collaborate across a matrixed global HR function, with teams in the US.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role within financial or professional services.
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems, ideally Workday.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Confidence in managing relationships and providing advisory support to junior and mid-level employees.
  • CIPD qualifications and a strong academic background are advantageous.
