Rotable Repairs Ltd is a leading specialist Aircraft Wheel and Brake MRO, focusing on repair and overhaul of aircraft wheels, brakes, freight, and hydraulic components. As a Part 145 EASA/FAA and TCCA Approved Workshop, we deliver quality services trusted by airlines and aerospace organizations worldwide.

Role Summary

The HR Assistant supports the HR department by handling administrative tasks such as recruitment, employee record maintenance, payroll assistance, and policy support. Acts as a first contact for HR queries, ensuring smooth operations while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities
  • Post job adverts and coordinate interviews
  • Assist with candidate shortlisting and prepare employment documents
  • Support onboarding, maintain employee records, and process HR paperwork
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and assist with reference checks
  • Record and monitor employee absences and attendance
  • Prepare HR reports and support policy updates
  • Assist with investigations, staff communications, and training sessions
Minimum Requirements
  • NVQ Level 1, GCSE D-G, ESOL Skills, or equivalent
  • 1 year administrative experience
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • CIPD Level 3 or working towards it
  • Experience with HR software (e.g., MyHR/Dayforce)
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
